Saturday, August 28 was the Harbourmaster’s Race. The day started out looking rather bleak and dreary with high gusty winds and morning rain. But mother nature came through with a nice (if not consistent) wind from the east of about 10 knots and no rain.
The single-handed keelboat race was held Sunday, August 22, in what appeared to be light and shifty winds. Results are available here.
Our annual Midnight Madness Race was held on a beautiful moonlit night this past Friday. Twelve avid sailors and crew embarked on this mission to sail in the dark, and to challenge their sailing abilities.

The Fall Series begin the week of August 23 for Tuesday and Thursday evening keelboat racing, and with that change, the location of the courses change. Make sure you head to the correct course – check the Sailing Instructions, if in doubt.

The following fleets will sail: J/22, J/80, Tanzer 22, Albacore, Viper 640, 2.4mR, 505, Youth ILCA, Optimist, Optimist Green. Join us August 14 + 15 for our highlight sailing event of the year.
Step 2 regulations allow us to resume our normal racing program, so racing starts July 6 following our 2019 race format.
