We’re all anxious to get this season underway, right? Me too. As we start to thaw out, here are a few things to keep in mind:

CAUTION Visiting the Yard
With the rain and upcoming flash freeze the yard will be a skating rink. If possible please avoid the yard. If you have any concerns or need anything checked on please contact James Pole. mpm@nsc.ca.

Reminder: Submit your Proof of Insurance
Don’t forget to submit your updated proof of insurance prior to Club Launch! Boats in the NSC Yard and Harbour are required to have a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 in liability insurance. Members are responsible for submitting valid insurance to the office. Updated insurance information can be submitted using this online form, or by email.

2022 Mooring Fees Due 1 March
The 2022 mooring invoices were issued 1 February and are due by 1 March. If you have not yet received your mooring invoice, or have any questions pertaining to your bill, please reach out to Jamiie.

Winter Yard Routine

Yard Water Supply Off Effective 2 November
Due to freezing temperatures, the water supply to the yard has been turned off to avoid damage to the system. There is no running water in the Sailing Pavilion washrooms and water at the Service docks has been disconnected.

The NSC Harbour is Now Closed
The NSC harbour is now closed for the Winter as of Tuesday, 16 November. The cranes will be decommissioned for the winter later this month.

Report – Trailered Boat Co-operative
October 30th was another successful Trailered Boat Co-operative haul-out.
