We invite you to nominate NSC sailors, boats or groups for the prestigious Commodore’s Cup for meritorious services to competitive sailing, and the notorious Dumper award for the most creative boating technique this year. These trophies will be awarded at NSC awards night Saturday 17 November.
It was a fantastic club evening as friends, family, and crew gathered to celebrate the season, and honour fellow members at NSC Sailing Awards Night last Saturday. Nothing like a vibrant clubhouse full of well-dressed sailors reconnecting, and swapping stories of another great season!
The 2017 NSC Sailing Awards Night takes place on Saturday, November 18th in the NSC clubhouse. Come celebrate the fantastic sailing and racing season that was with friends, crew, and fellow members in one classy gala affair, and honour your fellow awards members!
NSC is pleased to host the 2016 Interclub Awards this year. So join your fellow sailors on Thursday, Jan 12th in the Harbourview Hall. The evening starts with a reception at 7:00 pm and complimentary appetizers, followed by the awards ceremony beginning at 7:30 pm. No reservations required. At the 2016 AGM, the inaugural NSC Annual Volunteer Achievement Award (NAVAA) was present by Skype to Parke Davis who was in Florida. Parke was nominated by his fellow members for his volunteer contributions to the NSC during the 2016 season.
It was a great coming together as friends, team members, and fleets alike reconnected to celebrate the season at this year’s 2016 NSC Sailing Awards last Saturday evening. Dinner before-hand was fully subscribed, and the gathering crowd of NSC sailors soon overflowed into the Lounge creating a vibrant social buzz for the evening.
Nominations are now open for you to nominate your fellow members for their volunteer achievements at your Club.
The 2016 NSC Sailing Awards Dinner takes place on Saturday, November 19. NCS’s chef, Tim Barton, has prepared a classy, 4-course (incl. dessert!!) served gala dinner, so reserve on-line or at the office early for this event which always sells out.
