The NSC Awards Dinner takes place on Saturday, November 22nd. Check out the menu. The evening starts with dinner at 6:30 pm., followed by awards beginning at 7:30 pm. MC’d by NSC’s own Matt Davidge. On-line reservations end Thursday, Nov 20th, at noon.
Thanks to a great team of NSC volunteers, another fantastic Turkey Trot race and feast took place this Thanksgiving Monday at our club. It was another gorgeous, warm, sunny, fall day, perfect for the many members and their families who turned out for a little on the water fun.
Gobble! Gooble! Gobble! Folks, the annual NSC Turkey Trot Pursuit race and Thanksgiving Feast is just 10 days now, and counting, on Monday Oct. 13th, 2014! Briefing (in the Members Lounge): 10:00 hrs. Copies of the Special Instructions about course and start times by boat handicap will be issued.
Six keen NSC Keelboat teams participated in Sunday’s BYC Queen’s Park Long Distance race. While a beautiful fall day, the winds were frustratingly light, highly variable and patchy, with only shore breezes to go on at times, leading to a long challenging race!
It was a cool Fall windy day with constant pouring rain, poor visibility, and yet nine passionate NSC sailors went out to test their skills in Saturday’s Single-handed Race.
The annual NSC Singlehanded Keelboat Race is this Saturday, September 13th! Warning gun is at 1350h, course to be sailed in the vicinity of the racing circle will be displayed on the RC boat. Note: PHRF Boats will be handicapped as having NO spinnakers, however, spinnakers may be used.
An awesome fall weekend regatta of Interclub PHRF Keelboat course and long distance racing at low entry cost.
