Day 3, Sunday, October 18th: The third and final day of the Sunday afternoon Frostbite series finally lived up to its name, as the temperature rose from an overnight low of -5°C, peaking only at 2°C mid afternoon.
Membership invoices were mailed the week of October 5th; if you haven’t received yours yet, you should receive it shortly. Payment is due by the end of the day, November 2nd.
Have you changed your e-mail address, mobile phone number, or moved? If so, be sure to give us your current info. Make sure your membership invoice isn’t sent to the wrong address.
Racers are reminded that per the Sailing Instructions, the first warning signal is made at 18:00 after August 31st. Also, beginning this week, Tuesday and Thursday keelboat courses are swapped back to as they were for the Spring Series.
Registration is now open for the Nepean One-Design Regatta, aka “The NOD“. Check out the Notice of Race. The deadline for early registration, and the cutoff for the minimum number of registrations to get a start, passed on June 1st.
