Do you have an under-used small dinghy, perhaps a Laser, Byte, small cat, or other 1-person boat? There are keen sailors looking to borrow such boats, in this distanced season. Strengthen the sailing community by matching through the NSC Crew Bank.
NSC is carefully adhering to Ontario Sailing guidelines, as Fleet activities start. Currently, the following boating activities are allowed, per OS guidelines: recreational boating of individual boats with only members of one household aboard – so you are free to take your boat and enjoy the river.

As noted at https://www.ottawariverkeeper.ca/riverkeeper-4k-race-info/, the Ottawa Riverkeeper 4K Swim from LDSC to CVGR is happening Saturday, August 10, from 0800-1000. Boaters are asked to watch for swimmers in the water.
